About the event
Our 2nd Annual Intentional Innovation Conference will be held at DeKalb High School. Last year we hosted over 200 teachers teachers from over 30 different districts. This year we anticipate reaching over 400 participants. We will have keynote speakers, concurrent sessions, panels, workshops, and collaborative work time. In addition, teachers will get to explore the concept of MakerSpace (a place at school where students can go to build and design). Teachers will be immersed in strategies and tools to take back to their classrooms to develop students that have the 21st century skills of critical thinking, collaboration, effective communication, and innovation.
To make it possible for districts to afford this opportunity, we offer this conference at little or no cost for participants. We are seeking community partnership opportunities to help cover conference costs.
