Heritage Day Celebration 2025,

Moretele Park., Moretele Park, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa Moretele Park., Moretele Park, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

  • About the event

The Heritage Day 2025 event is a large-scale cultural celebration hosted by the Nkosi Royal House in partnership with the Baroka Kingdom. The event is about preserving and showcasing South Africa’s rich indigenous heritage, bringing together over 200 tribes, traditional leaders, performers, small businesses, and community organizations.

It will feature cultural exhibitions, traditional music and dance, ancestral knowledge-sharing, artisan markets, and educational workshops. The event promotes unity, cultural pride, economic inclusion, and intergenerational knowledge transfer—all under the theme: “Celebrating Ubuntu: A Cultural Renaissance.”

It is free entry and open to the public, aimed at revitalizing heritage, empowering township economies, and strengthening community partnerships.

    Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors should support the Heritage Day 2025: Celebrating Ubuntu event because it offers a unique opportunity to align with nation-building, cultural preservation, and community upliftment at scale.

By partnering with us, sponsors will:

Demonstrate corporate social responsibility (CSR) by supporting cultural inclusion, youth development, and entrepreneurship

Contribute to township economic growth, job creation, and small business development

Receive Section 18A tax benefits via our PBO partner, Sechaba Lefatse NPC

Build trust and goodwill with traditional leaders, community stakeholders, and cultural influencers

Be part of a landmark event that fosters unity across tribes, languages, and borders

Supporting this initiative shows commitment to preserving South Africa’s heritage while unlocking real impact in underserved communities.

My name is Michael Nkosi, founder and cultural ambassador of the Nkosi Royal House, a community-based institution rooted in the preservation of Swati heritage and the promotion of inclusive economic opportunities within traditional communities.

With strong ties to the Baroka Kingdom and over a decade of leadership experience in social impact initiatives, I’ve worked across sectors to empower youth, support informal businesses, and elevate indigenous voices through cultural advocacy.

Our team includes tribal elders, event professionals, and registered non-profit partners like Sechaba Lefatse NPC (PBO approved)—ensuring transparent, accountable, and tax-compliant project execution.

We are not just hosting an event—we are building a legacy platform that unites communities, develops small businesses, and preserves ancestral knowledge for future generations.

You can trust our commitment, community reach, and integrity. We welcome oversight, collaboration, and co-ownership of the impact we aim to create.
