Hayle Fest 2017,

About the event

Hayle Fest is about bringing the communities of Cornwall together. We aim to showcase Cornwalls heritage, talent and sustainability within each community, whilst providing support to those charities prominent in Cornwall: The RNLI, Help for Heroes, The Royal Navy, Royal Marines Charity, Oxfam, The Cinnamon Trust, The Fishermens Mission and The Royal British Legion. 

Why should you sponsor?

Hayle Fest is run solely on volunteers and sponsorship, without which the Festival could not take place. We feel Hayle Fest is an important part of the community, for many years Hayle like many towns in Cornwall has suffered due to lack of tourism and funding, Hayle Fest encourages tourists to the area and thus could potentially provide us with a thriving town once more.

I currently work as Deputy Harbour Master in Hayle, I have only lived and worked here for just over a year and in that space of time I have noticed a distinct lack of community events in and around the area, I would love to give something back to the community, whilst helping charities that are close to my heart. I see the event as an opportunity to showcase the strength, love and resilliance in Cornish Communities which should be celebrated!
