About the event

Haweater Weekend is Manitoulin Island's biggest festival and has a focus on family friendly events for all ages. Haweater Weekend started as a homecoming weekend but grew to be so much more. Entering its 51st year, the weekend just gets bigger and better every summer and is the Club's biggest fundriaser, allowing it to continue its good deeds in the community and help those who are less fortunate.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors should come on board and give a helping hand to Haweater Weekend as the more money we make, the more benefit comes to the community and allows the Lions CLub to continue its charitable works such as supporting hospitals, long-term care facilities, elders and families in need and so much more.

The Little Current Lions Club is a long-established service club located in Little Current on beautful Manitoulin Island––the world's laregst freshwater island. The Little Current Lions Club is celebrating over 80 years of service to its community and has an incredibly active and vibrant club that includes people of alll ages and walks of life who are all dedicated to the health and well-being of the people of Manitoulin.
