About the event
Purpose: To develop an esports competition (Game: Overwatch) among participating colleges on Oahu with the intent to grow into a statewide competition.
Intent: A single, all-day competition in Spring 2020. The intent is to have a successful esports competition with a high level of standards and commitment by students and colleges. This event will act as a pilot for future esports competitions. The intent is to have esports be recognized as a serious and competitive activity among students and colleges. Tentative date set for April 11th, 2020.
If successful: If the one-day pilot program is successful, 2021 will host weekly esports college competition in Hawaii.

Esports is a highly growing demand in the United States. Right now, there is no organzation with the necessary experience and commitment to organize esports competiton. As an experienced Project Coordinator and gamer, I am excited to lead and organize the necessary stepping stones of an event that is bound for success to develop into greater future possibilities.

Daniel JimenezI'm an independent Project Coordinator with experience in organizing events into fruition. With my experience, I am going to pursue my passion - esports.
