Canine Companions for Independence is proud to present the seventh annual Haute Dog L.A. doggie runway fashion show that will feature 15+ canine models and pooches strutting their stuff up and down the runway on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Skirbal Cultural Center in Los Angeles from 4-8 pm. For dog lovers, this is the most unique event of its kind in the fashion industry. Enjoy food, drinks, raffle prizes, silent and live auctions, and awards for best costumes. Hobnob with celebrities like Paul Shaffer, John O'Hurley, Laraine Newman, Michael Nouri, Gary Anthony Williams, Rose Abdoo and more! Join us for a Howl-O-Ween Disco extravaganza!

Your participation in Haute Dog L.A. is an excellent way to share your services/products with a captive audience of dog lovers and folks who are passionate about providing independence to people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.

    Why should you sponsor?

The heart of Haute Dog L.A. is to raise support and awareness to help Canine Companions for Independence continue our mission of providing expertly trained service dogs to children and adults (including our beloved veterans!) with disabilities at no cost to the recipient.

Canine Companions receives no government funding, so our ability to provide these amazing service dogs to our clients at no cost comes from generous donors and sponsors like you!

I am a high energy, collaborative leader who is passionate about helping people recognize and realize their full potential. I am a teacher, trainer, and presenter who is comfortable in diverse settings.
I have spent the last several years planning events, directing programs, and administrating special projects in the nonprofit sector. I am dedicated to giving back to my community, and facilitating organizations to do the same. The world is a better place when we all work together toward a common goal.

I love the work I'm doing at Canine Companions for Independence. The rewards in this industry are immediate, and I am constantly amazed at how our dogs make it possible for people to go back to work, school, and out in the community. I see children speak for the first time, and say, "I love you" to a creature that provides companionship and bridges to others. Our dogs are a catalyst for change, and I love to give tours and show off what our dogs can do! Feel free to call and set up a tour! 760-901-4306
