About the event

A 501c3 organization, HOHS was founded in 1993 by health care workers concerned about the deterioration and precarious conditions of the healthcare system in Haiti. HOHS mission is to provide comprehensive services that will promote and preserve the health of the people in Haiti, targeting the indigents and those who cannot afford access to healthcare.

To sustain the ongoing activities of HOHS, every year the organization plans the Haitian Mothers' Day event celebrated on the last Sunday of May. This activity provides some fund to finance the projects of HOHS.

The event is also used as an opportunity to give Haitian mothers living in New York and the surrounding areas a way of celebrating their worth as parents and as pillars to the community.

Why should you sponsor?

By supporting the event the sponsor brings awareness of its company to the attendees of the event, and brings awareness of its company to individuals visiting our website and Facebook page.

In addition to the above, the sponsor is supporting a great cause and the many projects of HOHS in Haiti:

• maintaining a clinic, clinic Ste Claire, founded by the Organization
• aintaining a food service in a school in Haiti. The fund provided by the organization started the food service in the school.
• sponsoring students in some schools.
• providing humanitarian services.
