GsubX is the premiere Seattle based Grappling and Jiu Jitsu event. Each tournament attracts participants from all over the Northwestern United States, and Southwestern Canada. The event is the brainchild of Ivan Salaverry, Seattle MMA legend and Jiu Jitsu black belt. Gi and No Gi competitors participate in high energy submission only matches, with medals for top finishers. Coaches, teammates, and spectators all attend events to watch the matches.
GsubX is unique for it's media focus, with events held in the heart of Seattle. All matches are recorded, and posted for free viewing. Videos typically receive hundreds of views from engaged members of the community. Videos are produced leading up to, and afert the event for promotional purposes. In the videos Ivan communciates directly to the community, where ackowledgement and and additional promotion of sponsors haooens. In addition,GsubX is a big presence in local grappling on social media. Spectators, athletes, and participant gyms are trained to look there for updates. On social media each sponsor recieves a dedicated post, with a call to action to utilize their product/service.
Ivan Salaverry is a retired mixed martial artist, best know for his career in the UFC. Today he is a gym owner and event promoter. Ivan has been a fixture of the Northwest fight scene for over 20 years, and has deep ties to the community. His connections, influence, and deep ties to the community have proven invaluable in establishing and growing a well respected event in the northwest.

We produce hype videos leading up to the event, which will include sponsor logos and verbal acknowledgement by local MMA legend Ivan Salaverry. We produce a post event thank you video, and will include the same. During the live event we will have no fewer than 3 mentions my the emcee. Facebook, where most of the spectators and competitors receive info, will have a post dedicated to each sponsor, promoting their business and thanking them for supporting the event.
