About the event
Disc golf is a great way for people to get out and get some exercise, be soical, and most of all have fun! We hope to raise money for the park to expand its disc golf courses and attract more people to the sport! We are hoping to get the community involved to help expand youth programs and keep our parks clean and safe for generations. This league is PDGA sanctioned so Pros can earn points to go to major events, we are also offering all lower divisions as well as help for those who have never particapated in a professional tournament. We hope we can expand peoples knowledge of the sport and spread our love for the sport of disc golf! It will be a weekly event, every Thursday afternoon at 5pm.
Why should you sponsor?
Your support will help us continue to grow the sport of disc golf as well as add more youth programs for after school and throughout the summers. We will also be donating much of what we take in to the local parks and youth organizations around the area. With your sponsorship you will be gaining positive exposure thoughout our local community. With your help our club hopes to create a permanate impact on the youth of our city by providing support to organization like "The Boys and Girls Club", whom we have already done some fundraising for.
Cooper HarkinsMy name is Cooper Harkins, I am the current acting president of the "Greater Fox Valley Disc Golf Club", a subsidiary of the "Greater Fox Valley Disc Golf Association LLC". As acting president it is one of my duties to try and find funding and support for our club and our activities. When I am not disc golfing I am working at a local nursing home taking care of elderly residents or I am at home with my family (Carrie Harkins, wife, and Flynn Harkins, my two year old ball of joy!). I have dedicated my life to helping others and with your help I will be able to do that on a much higher scale.
