About the event

Ganpati Festival is a ten days festival which is celebrated across the world, in hindu religion and is the most celebrated in Maharashtra especially Mumbai. It is that time of the year where people from all religion, cast and community come together to welcome lord Ganesha with love, prayers and celebration and together spread happiness everywhere. 

This festival gets lakhs of devotees together for one common thing i.e. sharing happiness, love and praying to the almighty after a long month of fasting in shraavan. People keep lord Ganesha's idol from 1 and a half to 10 days maximum while some even keep it longer.

Why should you sponsor?

FAM society is in Kopar Khairane is one of the biggest societies in Maharashtra and has a little 1800 flats with about 5000 people staying here. It is a town in itself and people come together to celebrate different religious festivals together. We have been keeping Ganpati since 2003 and would be marking 15th year celebration this year. It is well known as Kopar Khairane Cha Maharaja Our idol is huge more than 14 ft every year and we get it from the best sculptor Rajan Khatu in Parel. We have one of the best Decoration, Aagman and Visarjan in Navi Mumbai across with every day being celebrated in different functions like various competitions Dance competitions, Fun Fair and a Maha Prasadam where we serve langar to around 5000 - 7000 people. 

Considering that it is Maharaja it is visited by more than 1000 devotees everyday from outside the society including famous politicians and celebrities. The entire celebration is Grand inclusive of the daily Prayers, Aarti and the entire management is well coordinated. 

RED FM was our Official Partner last year and promoted us every day with the famous RJ Giya. Our Idol gets flashed every year in the newspapers for being one of the best idols in Navi mumbai. Additionally we have been winning the award for Best Mandal for last two years by the Commissioner of Navi Mumbai. 

All our sponsorors have benefited because of our connection with them as their Name is Visible and Announced everyday considering that it is visited by more than 1000 people everyday from outside the society, about more than 1000 people inside too, about 500 people daily available in the Aarti and various Functions and about 6000 - 7000 people during visarjan. We also prefer Announcing our Sponsors who support us everyday during these hours and obviously have visible names across which supports our Sponsor too due to which we end up in a long term relationship with all.

Jayesh Chandan

My name is Jayesh Chandan and I am the Chairman of this Cultural committee known as FAM Cultural Group. I have been staying in this society since the start and have been a part of merchants association of Maharashtra for years. I am also currently a Real Estate Consultant and am well known across for my good relationship with everyone in the society and outside the society. I am also a member of the Official Commitee in our society which is one of the biggest around.

I am also involved in a lot of Cultural and Social activities for the betterment of society and collaborate and get supported by our honorable politicians and Navi Mumbai police always. I am leading this group with the intent that we would once make it a successful Trust and not just cultural mandal to ensure that we support our city and the citizens.
