About the event
The event is meant to provide families with a change to enjoy time together in a park setting. By encouraging people to build healthy relationships with their parks, we aim to inspire park stewardship and involvement. By strengthening the relationship between people and their natural environment, we will foster healthier lifestyles and active park usuage within our community.

The Parks Foundation strives to improve the lives of northern Nevadans by enhancing the quality and sustainability of our local parks. ​Our main focus is to provide innovative park-based programs for families, community groups, and schools. Our ultimate goal is to inspire citizens to take a proactive volunteer role in the preservation and improvement of our parks.
