Dominique McGeeBreakin Khainz is a survivor-led nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to provide assistance to survivors of abuse and trauma, at-risk youths, and young adults in underserved communities, helping them piece together a better life. We are acutely aware of the disparities and injustices that many individuals face, that lead to displacement, abuse, and other heinous injustices such as human trafficking that plage our communities. Therefore, we are committed to staying ahead of the curve in this battle by focusing our efforts on aiding the most underserved communities.
For the past year, we have been operating without our own official building. However, we are currently raising funds for the Breakin Khainz Thrive Learning Center. This center will serve as a welcoming and safe space for personal and professional growth, educational advancements, career path discovery, and healing through the arts. We firmly believe in nurturing the dreams and skills of our youth, providing them with an environment where they can truly thrive.
