Food Distribution 2017,

Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

  • About the event

This   project   is to   provide   nutritionally   balanced   meals   free   of  charge   to   the  poverty-stricken community  of Brickfields,  mainly  the  homeless  that reside and  wander  the  streets of Brickfields,  as well as the urban poor whose minimum  wage  or temporary  employment  does not adequately  meet their basic needs. In order to relieve them of one small burden, that of providing their next meal, we have decided to undertake this project once again this year in the hopes that the less fortunate will suffer less and be able to enjoy the meals that we take for granted. Since 2015, we have undertaken this project, feeding about 200 of the less fortunate on a monthly basis for about 4-6 months. This year, we aim to feed approximately 1400 people over the course of 4 months. The project will aim to feed 200 people in the month of September and 400 people in the subsequent 3 months. This year, we are also collaborating with Hope Worldwide Malaysia, a non-profit organization aiming to help the underprivileged, to expand and increase the magnitude of our project.

    Why should you sponsor?

First, this is a project that provides an opportunity for a sponsor to carry out corporate social responsibility (CSR) which will help to build up your company's brand image. Secondly, by sponsoring this project, our club will help to promote your products via our Facebook page or helping you to distribute any promotional materials. Lastly, you might gain an opportunity to sponsor bigger events organised our sponsoring Lions Club which is Lions Club of KL (Host) and therefore improving your company's branding further.
