FLORIDA 2 MAN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP,

Orlando, Florida, United States Orlando, Florida, United States

  • About the event

The 2017 FLORIDA 2-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP will take place on November 18, 2017 at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, FL.  Proceeds from this event will be donated to Second Harvest of Central Florida.

Second Harvest of Central Florida collects, stores and distributes donated food to more than 550 feeding partners in six Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.  Last year with the help of numerous donors, volunteers and a caring, committed community, the food bank distributed 52 million meals to partner programs such as food pantries, soup kitchens, women’s shelters, senior centers, day care centers and Kids Cafes.

In addition to helping feed the line of our neighbors who need help, Second Harvest also transforms dozens of lives directly every year.  Economically-challenged adults who graduate from our 14-week culinary training program are placed in ‘better than minimum wage’ jobs that set them and their families on a path to self-sustainability.

Thanks to the fundraising efforts of events like the FLORIDA 2-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP, Second Harvest is able to remain true to their principles, and consistently support families in their time of need.

For more information about Second Harvest, please visit www.feedhopenow.org. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Rick Macali of the Players AM Tour.  Thank you for supporting our community.

The Players AM Tour was founded with a rebellious spirit and a lofty objective: to offer competition golf across every skill level on the best courses in the area at a fair price, while leading the way for socially-conscious people and businesses to fight hunger in America - all without a membership fee.

Our Tour can be played by anyone with a handicap of less than 30. Because we offer different flights for different skill sets, no one is excluded. Truly, golf is one of the greatest lifetime sports available.

The Players AM Tour hosts events throughout the year, but the summer series, from March to October, is the real points race that will dictate the most consistent player in each flight. Following the last regular season event, we will host a 2-day Tour Championship.

Our five flights are broken down by handicap groupings. Players compete for points and prizes only against players in their flight.
