About the event

This year’s anticipated event will focus on navigating the many changes and challenges affecting those in social service to create a successful future. Attendees include 150 of our top customers, clinicians, execs, & administrators from social service agencies across the US. Our three main objectives are:

• To provide users of our software with the training required to meet their reporting and outcome measuring needs via data management and retrieval.
• To support our software users in maintaining appropriate information security, HIPAA compliance, and compliance with other regulations, as well as best practices for maintaining their client’s privacy and confidentiality.
• To ensure our software users are competent users of our system and can manage client data accurately and efficiently, as well as empowering System Administrators to train and support staff at their own agencies.

Our Keynote speaker this year will be Shenandoah Chefalo, a Certified Coach and a member of the Foster Leaders Movement. She is a sought after speaker on topics surrounding youth in foster care and the science and impact of trauma and resilience on various social issues; She is also the President and Owner of Chefalo Consulting: Trauma-Informed Specialist that helps private, governmental and public organizations implement sustainable trauma informed strategies that are focused on learning new skills as well as organizational culture changes and shifts.  She has been featured as a consultant and trainer nationally and internationally.

The scale and speed of the coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted the world.  Social service heroes were called to the front lines, providing critical support for those in need.  They continue to face challenges prioritizing clients’ increasingly complex needs with limited resources, navigating policies while balancing client needs. Social service workers reported that they are struggling to manage daily work routines, meet client needs, and combat the range of social justice issues inherent in the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic context is one of high client needs, increasing demands and transformative changes in practice, which may place social workers and other front-line workers at serious risk of burnout.

We exist to help these heroes work more effectively and efficiently. Working with over 600 social service agencies across the US, we are excited to host our first conference since the pandemic to bring these agencies together. This year’s anticipated event will focus on navigating the many changes and challenges affecting those in social service to create a successful future.  We hope you will join us!

Priscilla Murphy

Hello, My name is Priscilla Murphy. I am the Onboarding Success Manager at KCare for the extendedReach platform. My role at extendedReach is to ensure our customers have the best possible Onboarding experience through listening to customer feedback and continually evolving our internal process. In supporting this mission I work with customers from the Sales process, Implementation process, all the way through to our Support and Success teams. As with any software, our tool is very complex and comprised of many moving parts. To better assist our customers in navigating the future of social services we have planned a national user conference for February 2023. Since our industry is social services, funding is very limited. We are hoping to secure sponsorships to help us achieve our funding goals in hosting a conference for our Foster Care and Case Management agencies.
