    ---------------------------------------------------------------
Engineering isn’t all trains, bridges, and matrix multiplication. It’s creating and innovating for the better. Contrary to our event name, you don’t even need to be an engineer to come make cool things at EngHack.

    Can I come?
    - Any student over 18 is welcome to apply! However, only students who get accepted will be able to participate.

    What food are you providing?
    - We'll be providing meals, snacks, drinks, and coffee throughout the event!

What should I bring to the event?
    - A laptop and charger, reusable water bottle, and your brilliant mind. Of course, feel free to bring things that can help you - earbuds, a whiteboard, and extra snacks (we'll supply some as well)!

What do I need to know about teams?
    - Teams can be formed informally - with maximum 4 people per group! We'll have a slack channel for all hackers to communicate with each other and mingle to make teams with new people!!!

    Why should you sponsor?

Please contact us directly for full sponsorship package and benefits.

We are engineering students at University of Waterloo, hoping to bring an engineering-focused hackathon to our campus. We all have a technical or design background, enabling us to know the ins and outs of the processes hackers go through when they come to hackathons. Together, we have extensive experience in organizing large scale events, as we have been a part of other big events, such as Hack the North, TEDx, etc.
