Emerald Triathlon 2017,

About the event

Emerald triathlon is an annual event held in the Central Highlands Area in inland Queensland. 

Every year we gather from all surrounding towns and nearby cities to compete in a mulit- sport of swim ride and run to tackle a ccourse that is known as tough due to the dams location. 

The Central Highlands Triathlon Club cater for all ages, starting with the kids events where the little ones tackle it out up to the adult where thaey can take part in runnings events, team events  or individual events.

We hold in the afternoon where those who travel are able to come and relax before the big day and finish off with a pizza and beer party to thank everyone for their support.  

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring the event will enable the Central Highlands Triathlon Club to put on a great event.  Being a small country town,  we want to show the participants what the local and surrounding towns have in the way of atmosphere, senery and accommodation. 

We are seeking sponors who want to create a unique triathlon but have fun as well.

The Central Highlands Triathlon Club is a small club situated in the Emerald area but covers an area which includes Longreach, Clermont, Capella, Blackwater and Springsure.  We host events which include the Longreach Tri, the springsure Mountain Run, The duathon Series and the Emerald Tri.  WE cater for all ages including kids as we think they are the most important because if there having fun, we are having fun.  We are a fun filled club who travel together alot competing in events aroung the country. 

We work hard on our events with most funds raised in giving back to the community.
