About the event

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Geekonix- the Official Science and Technological Club of Techno India, Salt Lake has completed 11 years of successful functioning and enters into its 12th term in 2016-2017. We will be organizing the prestigious 11th version of EDGE - the annual Techno Management Fest of Techno India on the 7th, 8th and 9th of April, 2017.

BRIEF INSIGHT:

TECHNO INDIA: Breathing at the heart of IT sector of eastern India is a technological cognoscenti named Techno India. Established in 2001 by the Techno India Group, Techno India Salt Lake is the flagship college and serves as the main placement-centre for all the Techno India Group colleges. The college currently offers 12 UG courses and 3 PG courses and is AICTE approved institution affiliated to MAKAUT or formerly known as WBUT. The current strength of students is about 3500, enrolled in diverse disciplines.

GEEKONIX: Geekonix is the official Science and Technological society of Techno India, Salt Lake. It was formed in 2005 with the sole purpose of providing students with opportunities for enhancing their creativity and developing a pathway for exposure for the students zealous in the technical field. Along with providing a platform for the students to showcase their talents, Geekonix also aims to contribute to the society by extending any form of possible support.

EDGE: The annual technical and management festival of Techno India Salt Lake, organised by the members of its official science club Geekonix. EDGE stands as the second largest techno-management fest of Eastern India and is the biggest in Kolkata. Since its genesis in the year 2007, EDGE has grown multiple folds in every aspect. We take great pride to inform that we will be celebrating the 11th version of our prestigious annual techno-management fest EDGE on the 7th, 8th and 9th of April, 2017.
