About the event
Since 2000 in the month of August we have been celebrating sucessful in the city of Lawrence the Dominican night and Parade. This is an event that highlight and pride of Dominican living in the Merrimack Valley region as we celebrate the Dominican Republic Independence Restoration Day.

My Trendy EventsMy name isYokasta Batista, I am the president of the Dominican night and Parade of the city of Lawrence. I was born in the Dominican Republic but have leave in the city of Lawrence most of my life. I have a bachelor in business administration and I like helping other. Our main focus in this organization is to keep our culture alive in our youth, help them keep in touch with heritages. We don't only celebrate a day, we also have pageants, have diferente cultural talks and outdoor event, your help is really important in other to keep this foundation alive. I must add that we are a nonprofit organization and all member including myself and volunteers.
