About the event

Diversi-Con is an event to promote LGBTQIA+ inclusivity among various fandoms. Our goal is to celebrate and connect every orientation, gender, race, and ability level as we support our favorite LGBTQIA+ characters and entertainers. We embrace and encourage diversity in all forms. We will give back to our community as we applaud our progress and successes. This is our time to be loud, proud, and geeky. Whether you read about your favorite queer ships in books, listen to their music, watch them on tv, or follow them on the web; this con is the con for all.

Why should you sponsor?

We are asking your company to help sponsor this convention and help us bring people from all walks of life together so their differences can be celebrated. Anything that your company can give would help our convention thrive. To our top sponsors, we will add their logo to our conventions backdrops, badges, shirts, and so much more. We would also promote the company on our website, social media, and app. The convention will give the company a free three day pass, so the company can celebrate their differences. If your company was interested in selling products, we would waive the vendor fee.

Diversity is important. Now more than ever we need to celebrate our differences and Diversi-con is the right place to do that. As previously stated, our convention attendees will come from many different states and countries. Your company would reach a variety of different people from a variety of different places.  Your company has people from different walks of life from your employees to your clients. Show them that they chose the right company to support because you support them. We hope that you will sponsor our convention.

Our team was brought together because we know the importance of positive representation to normalize all orientations & genders. Some of us were raised when LGBTQ topics were taboo and never brought up in media and that was something that had a huge impact on how we grew up. Others have grown up in the changing times where LGBTQ themes were presented and how positively it impacted us. We want to continue that normalization and presentation by connecting everyone together to celebrate the changing media and celebrate ourselves. We also want to help our community directly by giving back to the LGBTQ community, especially potentially troubled youth. We intend to donate a large portion of our profits to the Minneapolis LGBTQ community as a thank you for what they do and aid them in their future outreach.
