Dinosaurs Live! Life-Size Animatronic Dinosaurs,

About the event

Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature trails at the 14th annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit. The exhibit always gives families and friends a fun, educational activity to enjoy together. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Photo op and play area dinosaurs will be available as well. This year, the exhibit also features an outdoor fossil dig. The dinosaur trail is jogging stroller friendly (it is not suitable for strollers with small wheels or wheelchairs).

With more than 90,000 visitors each year, a partnership with the Heard can provide our partners with the means to impact and interact with thousands of families from all over Dallas and Collin Counties;  support the conservation and education efforts of the museum; and help provide a safe and healthy environment for thousands of native Texas plants, animals and other creatures. 

Founded in 1967, the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney Texas consists of a natural science museum, indoor and outdoor exhibits, over six miles of nature trails, an outdoor amphitheater and a 289 acre wildlife sanctuary.

The Heard hosts more than 90,000 visitors each year  drawing families, educators, corporations, researchers, environmentalists, and more. 

Programs offered by the Heard include school field trips,  home school programs, summer camps, corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, scouting initiatives, environmental research programs and community events.

Of course, families and individuals are welcome to explore the wonders of the Heard at their leisure.

Stephanie Jennings

My name is Stephanie Jennings. I'm the marketing and communications director at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. I've been at the Heard for over 10 years and have been a part of its ongoing growth and outreach. I am committed to our mission to bring nature and people together. Prior to working at the Heard, I worked at companies considered to be at the top of their respective industries but saught the opportunity to use my skills and talents in the nonprofit sector. My educational background includes a BBA in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. I work to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing, PR and advertising to maximize not only the impact the Heard can make on reaching our community but also to maximize the return on your sponsorship investment.
