Delta Tau Delta hosts semi-annual events to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF is our national philanthropy that every Delta Tau Delta chapter supports. This event will be hosted at a local venue where we will be selling Lou Malnati's Deep Dish pizza. The event will be open to the local community as well as all University of Iowa students. All the funds that we raise during our events will be tranferred straight to JDRF.
Why should you sponsor?
A sponsor should support this event because they will get their name out to the Iowa City community while also supporting a good cause. We usually have a couple hundred people attend our events and it would be a great way for some of these people to head to a sponsor's venue if we were given gift cards for raffles or just donations for a logo on our flyer.
My name is Nick Timko, and I am our fraternity's Philanthropy Chairman. I am a Junior at the University of Iowa with a double major in Accounting and Business Analytics. This is my first semester running as the Director of Philanthropy and in past years we haven't received as many sponsors as we could have and I wanted to change that. I would like to change that because it will show future Philanthropy chairmen what to look up to and so that we can provide as much as we can for our philanthropy. I would love to have the highest amount raised for JDRF and be a leader for the future chairs.
