About the event
The Country Showdown National Finals are the end of a year long talent search put on by hundreds of radio stations throughout the United States. Each year thousands of country music singers enter local final events, progress to Regional and then a Semifinal event giving them a final opportunity to perform on historic stages in Nashville where someone will win the title of "Best New Act In Country Music".
Past Country Showdown participants include Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley & Chris Young.
The Season 35 National Finals are being held at The Stage on historic Broadway Street in Nashville where many country music stars were discovered and got their start.
