About the event

What is this?

Chip, Kick & Putt-Putt is the dream child of Collin Malaney and Drew Zuehlke. We dreamed of a golf classic where the unique mixture of the sports themselves evens the playing field of teams competing in golf-like events (see descriptions below). 

Such an event soon became a reality, and we're excited to have you join us at our first annual CK&PP Golf Classic Scramble Tournament of Champions and Grill Out (for short).

What is CK&PP

Compete in teams of 2 to get the lowest score on rounds of golf, footgolf, and mini golf. All 3 rounds will be played in a scramble format (each player takes a shot from the same spot, the team takes the best shot to shoot from next, repeat) 

GOLF
Your team will get to use 3 clubs for the entire round of scramble pairs golf. You will play with another team to make a foursome. Provide your own 3 clubs and balls. We will play 9 holes on the Birdie Course at Eagle River Youth Golf Center where the longest hole is 90 yards.  

FOOTGOLF
Your team will compete in a scramble using a soccer ball and kicking it into a special large golf hole. You will both take a shot and then kick your next shot from the best of those two shots. Provide your own 2 soccer balls. You will play this with another team to form a foursome. This will also be played on the Birdie Course as Eagle River Youth Golf Center.

MINI GOLF
Your team will also play the 18 hole mini golf course as a scramble. You will play this with another team as a foursome.

Why should you sponsor?

We are trying to sponsor an event that we've never heard of and that we don't think exists. This is an opportunity for both us and any sponsors to be on the frontline of a new golf classic. We are hoping this happens at least twice a year and we want to make it huge moving forward. To be one of the founding sponsors for this event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in a culture that thrives off novelty and unique events.

The course we've partnered with as well is willing to make our event an available package and wants to continue to host our events. This could bring further attention and recognition to sponsors of our event.

I'm a lover of competition in the most random avenues. I love being a part of new sports, activities, and events that challenge athleticism, teamwork, and strategy.

I am a teacher full-time, husband, and am active in my community and church. I love music, athletics, food, and living life to the fullest.
