About the event

As an organization committed to encouraging growth of all cultures and development of a passion for creative expression, Charm City Raas has one mission: to provide a vibrant, enriching, competitive and fun setting for the propogation and elevation of Indian culture through the art of garba-Raas. A portion of our proceeds are donated to The Lucknow Project, a project that works to improve the educational system of rural villages in Indian along with the health and quality of life.

By sponsoring Charm City Raas, you will gain exposure to a large platform of individuals who are locally based as well as from across the country. 600+ individuals are constantly exposed to our sponsors on social media and in person. Not only that, you help our work in The Lucknow Project, so your donation goes far from domestic exposure, but also international exposure.

Charm City Raas is a group of 18 Executive Board Members who are current Undergraduate or Graduate students. We are a group of individuals who have a passion for our culture and dance. Charm City Raas consist of dancers, event organizers, young professionals, and college students who voluntarily devote their time to this cause.
