About the event
The Catskill International Film Festival (CIFF) is passionate about promoting quality independent films, television pilots, and screenplays from filmmakers around the world. The festival competition is judged on professionalism, talent, technique, creativity, and originality where only the best receive the grand prize. CIFF is a star-studded event that celebrates an interactive and contemporary experience which will inspire, challenge, and enlighten viewers and participants alike. Filmmakers from all over the world are welcome to submit feature films, shorts, pilots, music videos, animations, and more! The festival is a haven for free-thinkers, innovators, and pioneers of the arts community. Attendees will walk the red carpet, attend after-parties with live entertainment, view award-winning independent films, enjoy a variety of events, and meet with filmmakers, stars, and models during an unforgettable weekend.
The Callicoon Theater and Western Hotel in Callicoon, NY will birth the start of a new chapter for the area and arts community by housing the Catskill International Film Festival. Nestled in the world renowned Catskill Mountains and within driving distance of New York City, the Callicoon Theater is the perfect film venue. CIFF intends to showcase the best talent the Catskills and the world has to offer, these talented artists will be given a platform to gain exposure and the promotion they rightfully deserve while celebrating the arts together and having an incredible time.

This culturally enriching event is already attracting many people from all over the world and will shine a spotlight on the talent the arts community has to offer. As a CIFF Sponsor, you would be brought in front of local and international audiences for the large event and its lead up. Additionally, there will be plenty of professional media coverage along with many videos and photos taken throughout the event.
Along with the main event in September, a special preview event will occur in July which has already begun obtaining significant attention. The event is free to attend with donations welcomed to a scholarship for Sullivan County Community College.

Anthony GagliardoAnthony Gagliardo has lived in the Catskills for most of his life, having attended school in the Tri-Valley Central School district before graduating from Sullivan County Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Anthony then advanced his education by attending SUNY Cortland where he obtained his degree in Criminology in addition to being accepted into the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Since graduating from Cortland, Anthony returned to the area and began acting after being offered the role of a background actor in "The Factory" and has now been in numerous films including a large role in the upcoming film, "A Line Between All Things," which is set to premiere this September at the Catskill International Film Festival.
When not acting, Anthony has been heavily involved in politics where he has worked on multiple events and political campaigns with the goal of obtaining enough knowledge and experience to make a positive difference in the community. After the Catskill International Film Festival, Anthony is looking to further his education in order to enhance his means of helping others. -
