Joseph Polk is no stranger to the Entertainment industry, having spent 15 years as a sound-man on off-Broadway and also as a song writer.
This taught him the importance of teamwork and excellence as the only acceptable standard by which to do business. To his credit; Joseph is a song writer affiliated with B.M.I and has 1,042 registered songs.
Prior to starting his entertainment career; Joseph spent many years employed in traditional corporate America in the field of Customer Service.
Joseph has a very unique talent for story telling; that serves to entertain people from all walks of life in all age groups.
Which is why at this stage and time in his career; Joseph has begun exploring his writing ability in the field of writing screenplays.
Just to name a few of his achievements; In 2004 at the Democratic National Convention he served as the talent coordinator orchestrating and arranging live celebrity performances of a musical nature for various political after party type events.
In March of 2003 he created and launched his record labels very own European tour: “TRUE GOSPEL” location: London England UK.
Joseph's on stage creations also include the gospel review “GOSPEL NOW”; which had its successful debut in Kobe and Tokyo Japan.
After having had a successful European musical tour Mr. Polk liked the living style and atmosphere of London England so much that he moved to London for 3 years.
While living in Europe; Mr. Polk was able to open an International branch of his recording label. Thus, Divine Records UK. In London England was born.
Prior to moving abroad; Joseph had the privilege of being the audio engineer for Harlem's own
Vy Higgenson productions “MAMA I WANT TO SING & LET THE MUSIC PLAY GOSPEL”.
More recently, the last film that Mr. Polk wrote was released in theaters the summer of 2017 and that movie’s trailer was the 2nd most viewed trailer in the country according to iTunes and Fandango.
There seems to be no end to what this talented individual can achieve.
When asked is there anything you can't do? Mr. Polk's
reply was Simply; "The only thing I can't do is stop!
