Bugs are such an integral part of our world! BugFest shows us how essential bugs are for growing food, saving the planet, cleaning the ecosystem, feeding the community, balancing nature, and not to mention just how diverse these beautiful animals are! We've invited our fellow bug lovers from all over to Texas to help us educate our communities through art, food, exotic pet shows, bug costume contests, music, games, giveaways, and crafts!
We work hard to provide free services to our community, like public access to our local & exotic animals and classes on Zoology, & Microscopy, and DIY Pest Control. We also serve in free community events like Country Day on the Hill, EarthFest, and local library programs. As a sponsor, you ensure that even more of our community is exposed to wildlife education, whether they're students, educators, or just cool enthusiasts!
I've been studying and working with invertebrates for about five years now. In the last year I've added reptiles and amphibians to my list of expertise. Wildlife education is so important and I strive for my community to understand and appreciate our ecology as much as I do. Through my work, I've been able to share my passion as a Montessori Facilitator, Entomology Docent, Teacher of the Sciences, Animal Keeper, and Education Coordinator.
