About the event

New Start is a summer program offered by the University of Arizona for incoming freshman students. Our goal is to create a community that encourages student retention. B.L.A.S.T. stands for our Bodacious Loony Array of Student Talent. This talent show aims to include all of our students and the amazing array of talent that they have. 

Why should you sponsor?

Our program caters mostly to first generation, low income and minority students. We would love to have sponsors for our top 3 contestants. In exchange we would be glad to advertise for your company in our dorms a well as in our lectures. Thank you for everything!

My name is Stella Felix,

I participated in New Start in 2016. I owe all of my success to New Start. In 2017 I applied to be a Peer Advisor to teach the incoming freshman. I loved that experience and decided to participate again.
