About the event
Spend your Samhain weekend at the Makoy Center from 11am-7pm. For $15 admission, enjoy a diverse selection of wares courtesy of the area’s most gifted craftswomen. With over 80 vendors, this is a rare chance to procure anything from an insightful tarot reading to ethically sourced taxidermy; magickal altar tools to vintage attire, and so much more.
Fine Wine & Delightful Spirits: The exhibitor’s hall will feature an open bar with refreshments, alcoholic and non alike.
Trick-or-Treat: Though entirely optional, we invite you to come in costume! You’ll be greeted at the admissions table with a complimentary bag and map featuring all vendors participating in trick-or-treat. These vendors will have an assortment of complimentary goodies to share, and ask only in return that you take a moment to admire their craft. Consider supporting them further if you like what you see!
80+ Artists: Any female-identifying artist, particularly who dabbles in the occult, the esoteric, the bizarre, the dark, the misunderstood, is invited to apply as a vendor. Male + female partnerships & teams are more than welcome to apply, as well. We provide 8’x10′ booths, complete with a clothed table and chairs. There are also two private rooms for sale, which are ideal for psychics, spiritual healers, and other services.
Why should you sponsor?
We support local area artisans, the Ohio art scene as a whole. Female entreprenuers and small craft business owners in particular benefit from exposure through our event. We also provide a platform for Pagans to join together, sharing in their spirituality in a safe place. We are a niche market - here's your chance to be seen by a local demographic that is quickly gaining more momentum.
I am Shannon Keely, and I have been an event promoter & organizer since 2012. My first brainchild was the beloved Midoricon, held annually for 5 years. A convention comprised of 90's nastolgia (ask about the live-action Mario Kart races!), we made the world of gaming truly immersive at the scenic Maumee Bay State Park. From performances on the beachside amphitheater to our marketplace of craftsman, we were a favorite among cosplayers. Our space could hold up to 1,000 attendees, the number we capped at, and met. I've switched gears recently as my interests have shifted, but I have every intention of building an annual event as successful as my first.
