About our event

The First Tee of Utah is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose mission is teaching Utah kids character values and life skills through golf. The First Tee of Utah offers educational golf programs to all youth ages 7 to 18, regardless of background or previous experience. All we ask is young people come with an open mind and positive attitude.  The Life Skills Program is conducted at various golf course locations throughout the state and is available to youth of all circumstances.

The Beyond the Green Gala helps fund our nonprofit and supports our mission of teaching Utah kids character values and life skills through golf. We are working to expand our reach to 50,000 Utah kids annually.

The First Tee of Utah has a policy of never turning a child away. A $500 sponsorship provides scholarships to 5 deserving kids who would not be able to participate in our life-changing programs otherwise. Scholarship Sponsor receives: Recognition on The First Tee of Utah chapter website. Thank you card personally signed by the kids receiving a scholarship because of your generosity.

My name is Celeste Green. I'm the Operations Manager for The First Tee of Utah.

I have an extensive background in the financial services industry, having worked for various financial advisory firms including Wasatch Advisors, First Western Advisors & American Express Financial Advisors. My primary role with The First Tee of Utah is as the chapter’s Operations Manager. I am an expert with computer software, programming, and information technology (ask me for help anytime!).

My prior experience includes compliance, auditing, customer relations, and client data management.

A University of Utah graduate, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance. Outside of the office, I loves spending time with my husband Scott and our three children. I also enjoy art and cooking.
