About our event

The First Tee of Utah is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose mission is teaching Utah kids character values and life skills through golf. The First Tee of Utah offers educational golf programs to all youth ages 7 to 18, regardless of background or previous experience. All we ask is young people come with an open mind and positive attitude.  The Life Skills Program is conducted at various golf course locations throughout the state and is available to youth of all circumstances.

The Beyond the Green Gala helps fund our nonprofit and supports our mission of teaching Utah kids character values and life skills through golf. We are working to expand our reach to 50,000 Utah kids annually.

9 Reasons to Sponsor the Beyond the Green Gala

If you want to get the most bank for your marketing buck, The First Tee of Utah's Beyond the Green Gala is an excellent choice. The First Tee network is recognized and respected nationally as a positive youth development organization. To be a sponsor means you support

1. Media Exposure
Beyond the Green Gala sponsors get exposure on ESPN700's Utah Golf Weekly, an incredible popular weekly show with an avid audience of Utah golf and sport enthusists.

2. Increase your company's perceived image
Community involvement and charitable giving positively impact public perception of your brand in a big way. Your customers will see that you are professional, reputable, and that you believe in giving back.

3. Brand Recognition
The First Tee of Utah focuses on teaching kids positive character values and life skills such as honesty, integrity, responsibility, and good judgment. By sponsoring the Beyond the Green Gala, the public will associate your brand with these same positive values. Your logo will be seen on flyers, posters, event signage, and all promotional material in association with these values our audience associates with The First Tee of Utah.

4. Giving Back to the Community
Sponsoring The First Tee of Utah is great because you establish goodwill and show the community that you're willing to support local nonprofits and build up the local community. You may be interested to know that The First Tee of Utah never turns any child away; we're able to do that because of generous sponsors like you. Think of your sponsorship as a way to positively impact deserving Utah kids in the communities where you do business.

5. The Best Place to Hand out Freebies
All of our sponsors get to include an item to give to all of the attendees. Our attendees love these goodie bags and look forward to the fun things included in them. It's a perfect chance to get your brand in their hands with a promotional piece for them to take home and enjoy. This is a great way to get in front of the affluent consumers in your target market rather than broad ineffective ads such as billboards and newspaper ads.

7. An Opportunity to Generate Leads
Did you know that a gala is an excellent opportunity to grab some highly targeted leads? Attendeeds love signing up for a chance to win a prize. You can get their information in exchange for some of the items you are already planning to give away. Or coordinate with us to sponsor an exciting opportunity drawing for even more excitement associated with your brand.

8. Get to Know Other Businesses
One of the best aspects of sponsoring The Beyond the Green Gala is the chance to network with other like-minded businesses. Fellow sponsors send some of their top key players to these events letting you mingle and connect in a relaxed environment and on a personal level that is hard to come by otherwise.

9. Sponsorship is Affordable
Let's face it, running an ad campaign can be expensive. Billboards, TV, radio, and print ads cost thousands of dollars for very broad, ineffective exposure. Traditional advertising channels work, but the cost is steep and patience is required for them to yield returns. With event sponsorship you'll have a targeted audience for the entire evening, plus all of our pre-event promotion is casting a wider net getting you in front of even more targeted prospects. You don't need to search hard or spend a lot in order to get in front of a large audience.
