A special sort of concert, of an yet undefined style, of atonal though melodic music explorations, played by a crossover trio of classical (cello, violin) and modern (electric guitar) instruments, plus contemporary vocals on modern subjects of melodic wit. Copositions of a new genre, mixing classical chamber-music tones with progressive contemporary themes, and charming audiences of all backgrounds and ages.

Ana PatanMy name is Ana Patan and I am known in the world of jazz-rock and fusion as a guitarist, singer, and a composer who defies genre.
With cross-over project Tone Chiseler, I take this disregard for musical borders even further, into the contemporary-classical realm, with original and unique compositions that, with playfulness and wit, stretch the borders of the known and the allowed.
A cello and a viola play in a trio alongside electric guitar, in atonal though melodic harmony, to create a new style of music that could well be named progressive chamber music, and feels at home in a Viennese opera house, in a local club or in a church.
In 2025 we'll be taking it to some of the most beautiful cities of Europe, Vienna, Munich and Paris (more coming up), and we'd like you to join us in beauty and exploration.I use the electric guitar, an instrument of an insufficiently discovered versatility and complexity of expression, beyond the known concept of popular music, to dissolve prejudice and separation, while connecting in sound the ancient inheritance with the new reality that surrounds us today.
