Bear Lake Pickleball Classic,

About the event

  This is event is the first ever Bear Lake Pickleball Tournament. We are expecting about 60-80 people at this event, or possibly more. there will be a pro pickleball player, two-time nationals finalist Erik Gertler, teaching a clinic. The tournament will be broken up by skill levels, allowing players of any level to participate.

  Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America, and has been televised on ESPN, CBS, and other television outlets. Although this tournament will not be televised, pickleball is a very popular sport, and this tournament will be brought to public attention. We are expecting at least one spectator for every participant, meaning that at least 120 people will show at the event.

Why should you sponsor?

  This is the first edition of this tournament. To put it on, we will need to purchase all new equipment. The total cost of this tournament will be upwards of $2,000. In order to offset the cost of the tournament, we charge a registration fee for all athletes. To increase participation, we want to make this fee as small as possible. We need sponsors to make this happen. We truly believe that the more sponsors there are, the more participation we will have. 

  Any sponsor will be very happy with the results of this event. Their company will be exposed to potentially hundreds of spectators, and our directing committee wants to place a priority on sponsor publicity. this tournament can guarantee that any company sponsoring us will receive the publicity they need to be successful.

Jakob Gertler

My name is Jakob Gertler, and I have been playing pickleball for ten years. My father is a long-time professional pickleball player, and we have played together for as long as I can remember. I have participated in dozens of pickleball tournaments. 

I am an extremely ambitious go-getter, and I will to anything to make this event successful. I am 17 years old, and I am seeking to become something greater than is expected of me. I need sponsors to make this event successful. I hope that you will help me make this event great.
