Back to school Fundraiser,

About the event

  
I am holding a few fundraisers in the area and looking for anyone interested in participating or sponsering the events. Proceeds from each event will fund back to school necessities to local families in need. My goal is to provide more than just pencils and backpacks but breakfast foods, uniforms and books as well.  I also have a notion that more families in the area will be more conscious of the available resources and less prideful to accept the help considering I live and grew up in these low income areas. 
  
Volunteers may contribute by sitting in a dunk tank, donating baked goods to the bake sale, donating new shoes or clothing, breakfast foods. We are also accepting items to raffle and donations for date night venues and of course back to school supplies. The dates are July 30th for the  Drive/dunk tank and August 5th for the auction. Sponsors will be advertised on our flyers,  published in our ads and greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you are interested as I am willing to sit down and elaborate my ideas.

Why should you sponsor?

Benefit local families with not only pencils or traditional items from back to school drives but providing help with books, breakfast food, and uniforms. These are items needed thats are often over looked in the poverty stricken community. City officials are really unaware of the of the underlying issues in the minority community of South Bend and I want to be an advocate and bring attention that we as the community are the only ones that are going to genuinely help each other.
