About the event
In 2024, Hobart will host the Australian Masters Athletics (AMA) National Championships. This major sporting event will showcase Hobart’s Domain Athletic Centre over the Easter weekend of 29 March – 1 April 2024. The event will attract more than 500 athletes and 100 officials, with interest in the event from the athletes, their families and club members around Australia.
On behalf of Australian Masters Athletics Inc., Tasmanian Masters Athletics Inc. (TMA) is responsible for the organisation and staging of this event.
Promotion will be effected through national and regional Masters Athletics sporting events, on the AMA and TMA websites and on the website that will be developed specifically for the competition. Local press, radio and television coverage will be arranged where possible.
