About the event

Art in the Garden is a community event in Southern Illinois featuring live painting accompanied by local live music.
The theme is to connect, create and participate.

The event is not intended for profit but rather to amplify the arts through social currency. We are seeking sponsorship to offset our costs and would be grateful for any amount. 

Why should you sponsor?

A sponsor should support our event because it's a worthwhile pursuit. We anticipate a diverse gathering of people with exceptional talent as well as kids, students and those not typically familiar with experiencing live art, with an audience ranging in age from young to old. 
The photos from event will be stunning, and we can display the sponsored logo visibly so that all who see the promotion and attend know that the success of this event was made possible by our sponsors. We are not asking for much, so  it's not expensive to invest in our event. Art in the Garden is about bringing people together through art, and with your sponsorship we can do more and believe it will be something worthy of investing in. 

Michele Wortman

My name is Michele Wortman. 
I studied painting at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago and have a passionate interest in community building through the arts. Currently I'm involved in co-hosting a Monday Art Social at Union Street Arts in Marion Illinois.
I'm excited about the team I've been working with to create our event, Art in the Garden and believe that we have what it takes to make it a successful event.
