About the event
Another Brick Off the Wall will bring more than 800 students from more than 160 cities from 40 Countries around Europe together, to discuss and find viable solutions to challenges affecting youth in 2019.
30 years ago the world experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall, an event that changed history. 30 years ago, in November, AEGEE-Salerno hosted the same exact conference just one week after the biggest event of the century that changed our lives.
In that event, the organisation formally opened its doors to East, being one of the pioneers in the cross-borders cooperation between East and West.
Today, the aim of the event will be to match the common needs European youth has, mainly in the field of Personal and Professional Development, Education and Mobility, in order to create a concrete road map for a brighter European future.
Why should you sponsor?
AEGEE-Salerno is part of the AEGEE Network, a pan-European NGO founded in 1985 to promote a unified borderless Europe.
Every year more than 300 thematic events are organised all around Europe, more than 20 European projects carried on.
The organisation counts today more than 13.000 members, but every year the reach gets by far over 1million students across Europe.
Agora Salerno will be the biggest yearly event organised within the Network, and will therefore get the biggest visibility in the Network.
AEGEE members are young students or graduated, between 18 and 35 years old, who on average speak 3 languages, attended conferences in at least 5 different countries, received at least 50 hours of non formal education on transversal competencies and worked with at least 11 different nationalities.
