  • About the event

    Our Annual Holiday Fundraiser is our only fundraising event of the year. The event will be a fun evening with cocktails, auction, dinner, and dancing. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be put into the HEAR Scholarship Program.

    The HEAR Scholarship Foundation is a small yet mighty group of dedicated folks who work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of underserved Chicagoland high school students by providing scholarships to exemplary high school seniors to attend college. In 2019, we provided 30 scholarships to fantastic HEAR scholars.

    To date:

    - 111 students have been funded through our scholarship program;

    - 28 students have successfully graduated from our program (a 100% graduation rate);

    - Over $2,000,000 has been committed to providing college access for underserved Chicagoland students;

    - over 575 scholarship applications received annually.

    Why should you sponsor?

    In addition to recognition at our event (depending on your level of sponsorship), by sponsoring our event you will also be helping to ensure that as much money raised as possible will be allocated to our HEAR Scholarship Program. This program is dedicated to improving the future academic successes of underserved, exemplary high school students of the Chicagoland area.

    We are a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) and our focus is on improving the chances of educational success for those students who are financially disadvantaged and who otherwise may not have the opportunity to a college education.

    Lucy Burne

    I am the Marketing and Communications Manager for the HEAR Foundation. My background is in recruitment but after a career break to raise my family I took this opportunituy to help others.

    HEAR is a small non-profit based in Chicagoland. I am trying to raise awareness of our organization and in turn ensure the success of our event. In doing so, we can make steps towards improving the educational future of some of the Chicagoland area's brightest and best young students. This surely is a great motivator for all?

    Why should you trust me? I am working for a non-profit in order to better the lives of others.

    We would be so grateful for any sponsorship offers!

    Best regards

    Lucy
