  • About the event

    Ankara Meets Adire Festival (AMAF) is an annual event founded by four partners in collaboration with NDCASSOCIATION a Community Interest Company with an unrelenting passion to promote and cultivate the use of Ankara and Adire African Fabrics in the United Kingdom and Worldwide. Given the recent global interests in African prints and with no one platform representing these works of art, we knew it was time to provide a platform and at the same time share our passion and idea with the world.

    The event comprises of a fashion runway show, exhibition of fashion designers from UK/Abroad artists and interior decorators, Adire and Ankara Artisans, Music Entertainers, Best dressed Contest, Barbeque and After party starting at 3pm to 9pm followed by After Party.

    The event is held in the prestigious Cargo in the heart of London Shoreditch. closer to Old Street and Shoreditch High Street Underground Train Stations

    We have reached out to Radio Stations, TV Stations, Fashion Bloggers, Brand Influencers, Fashion buyers, designers in the UK who are all looking forward to see what creativity they will behold at the AMAF Event.     My name is Mrs Olutoyin the Founder of NDCASSOCIATION Community interest Company non profit. I am also the Operational Director for AMAF Ankara Meets Adire Festival. 

    I have extensive experience in organising workshops and events such as Parliament week events, Black History Month, Cancer Fundraising Events. 

    I volunteer in spare time as a Cancer Research Ambassador and Community Champions for UNICEF.
