  • About the event

This event will not only be a celebration of culture and heritage, but also an opportunity to bring the community together to learn about a continent where so many of our ancestors originated from. In order to amplify our humanitarian efforts, we ask for your help in making this year’s event the tremendous success we know it can be. As an event sponsor, you will receive special recognition and widespread public exposure, showing the level of dedication and support you have for your community.

    Why should you sponsor?

    Dear Sponsor,

We humbly invite you to participate in our 2017 African World Peace Festival taking place Saturday July 15, 2017. Loving Hands International is a nonprofit, humanitarian, organization with the goal of serving underprivileged communities not only in Fayetteville, North Carolina, but our reach extends to areas within the United States as well as Africa. We develop, promote, and implement plans to advance in the quality of healthcare, education, agricultural growth and socio-economic advancement to improve the overall quality of life to the community. With the “thank you “of every child and the appreciation of every parent we would like to solicit not only compassion from your heart, but financial support to ensure that these needs continue to remain sustained.

This Festival is comprised of two main sections: The 5K Peace Run with it transitioning to the World Peace music concert. Together, these events will bring over 5,000 participants, filling downtown with the spirit of Africa. The concert will take place in the afternoon, showcasing a variety of African music, bands and dance groups. There will be a donation center where we will be collecting canned goods on behalf of local nonprofit organization “Operation Blessing.” Free health screenings will also be provided to promote healthy lifestyles as well as a ceremony to honor American soldiers of African decent.

Proceeds of the African World Peace Festival will be spread throughout both local and international communities in need or support through Loving Hands International, the nonprofit organization responsible for organizing the event.

We sincerely hope that you take this opportunity and contribute to our event at the level your business can, and we look forward to seeing you in July! If you have any questions, or would like to talk about tailoring your sponsorship package to maximize the special needs of your business, please do not hesitate to contact us. We thank you for your consideration, and look forward to adding your name to the list of 2017 African World Peace Festival sponsors.
