About the event

The African Link Up Weekend was created from a place of lack. There has never been a single

setting where young Africans from all around the world could join,network, and embrace their

culture as well as others all in one place. All members and participants of African Link Up are

encouraged to show off their culture as well as embrace other cultures. Many of African

millennials are away from their immediate family and we overall want to re-establish a sense of

family through this weekend event.

This event is only one of many, throughout the year we will help participants of African Link Up

to develop more professional relationship through mentors, friends, and colleagues. These

resources are not limited, we will also share these resources to our brothers and sisters in

African and West Africans

This event caters to all demographics that want to celebrate the African diaspora. We hope you

are able join this amazing weekend learning, networking, and fun brought to you by the African

Link Up Organization.

African Link Up is an organization that

powers the event African Link Up Weekend.

This weekend creates a platform that

highlights and unites millennial African

cultures. Such as art, music, business, special

crafts, education, philanthropy, and helping

establish a solid networking group in our

community. Our goal is to make more young

Africans ready for the professional world

through networking at our events and learning

from our resources. By unifying the diaspora

and embracing our many diverse cultures we

give them a home and platform to network with

others, therefore establish a community.
