ACYS Family Fun Festival,

About the event

ACYS is happy to announce that on Feb 24, 2018 from 1PM – 6PM, we will be holding our first annual ACYS Family Fun Festival. This event will be held in conjunction with the closing day of our TOPSoccer Program and the beginning of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month in March.

TOPSoccer is an outreach program designed to allow children with special needs the opportunity to play soccer with peers and volunteers.  The program is inclusive for kids ages 3 and up regardless of disability.  We adapt the game of soccer to the ability of the kids so that every child is a winner.  TOPSoccer measures success with smiles and not with scoring goals. 

The purpose of this day will be to celebrate our ACYS Families and Community and to also bring awareness to the contributions that individuals with disabilities make to our society. We are inviting our Families and Friends and all local members of our community to join us in a day of fun and games at Trotters Park in Orlando.

Why should you sponsor?

ACYS in a non-profit organization that was started in 1986 by a group of five spiritually minded men whose kids participated in youth sports in the Central Florida area.  Their desire was to create an environment where the well-being of children would be put first over a win-at-all-cost attitude; a place where if you weren’t the best player on the team you still received an opportunity to play and have fun.  Most importantly, they desired to create a league that honored God not only in word but in action by modeling Christian values through its programs, policies, and people.  

Today, ACYS has grown into one the largest multi-sport youth sports leagues in Central Florida. Each season it provides a fun, safe and instructional environment where kids can be kids while learning to play sports and experience important life lessons along the way. ACYS is committed to developing excellence in youth sports through all of our programs that inspires and challenges players to realize their potential, both on and off the field.  We joined the TOPSoccer community 5 years ago to be able to share this same experience with athletes with special needs. 

TOPSoccer is an outreach program designed to allow children with special needs the opportunity to play soccer with peers and volunteers. The program is inclusive of kids ages 3 and up regardless of disability. TOPSoccer is a free program to the Athletes and their families.  This year we want to show our TOPSoccer families our ongoing support by having the ACYS Family Fun Festival.  The festival will take place on the last day of the TOPSoccer Season as a celebration of a great season and to kick-off the Developmental Disability Awareness Month.  

We want to show the Athletes and their families that they have the support of ACYS and our community.  As a sponsor you to would be showing your support and help to grow our TOPSoccer program for years to come.  100% of your sponsorship will go to strengthen and grow ACYS Outreach Programs such as TOPSoccer, free programming for the children of our military families, scholarship offerings to those who need additional financial support to play youth sports and so much more. Our hope is that with your support, we can continue to grow and nourish our ACYS programming reach. We can't do it without you!
