The Westgate Capital Campaign Committee invites you to be part of this exciting event celebrating our return to 86 West Gate! Westgate Mennonite Collegiate  embarked on an exciting project to redevelop the centre of its facility to be universally accessible, provide greater opportunities for performing arts programs, and build infrastructure that matches the academic excellence that Westgate is known for.  Specifically within this project is a spacious Music Room and a new Science Lab dedicated to students in grades 6 to 8.

The concert will feature Gwen Hoebig (Concertmaster WSO), Karl Stobbe (Associate Concertmaster WSO, Concertmaster MCO), Daniel Scholz (Principal viola WSO and MCO), Andrea Bell (Conductor WYO, Westgate, cellist), David Moroz (Professor U of M, pianist) and their children.  We will also be featuring our Westgate Strings Orchestra.   In addition, there will be a pre-concert reception starting at 6:00 with appetizers and wine pairing.  The evening is sure to be a wonderful opportunity to meet and visit with many supporters and friends from the Westgate community.

We are looking for supporters like you, who may be willing to have your business be a sponsor for the event with one of the following sponsorship levels:

• Diamond   $10,000 (includes 8 tickets to concert and wine pairing)
• Gold           $5000 (includes 8 tickets to concert and wine pairing)
• Silver          $2500 (includes 4 tickets to concert and wine pairing)
• Bronze       $1000 (includes 2 tickets to concert and wine pairing)

This would come with the following benefits:

• Priority seating at the concert

Why should you sponsor?

Dear Sponsor,

I would like to thank you in advance for considering our event.  

Westgate Mennonite Collegiate conducted a stakeholders survey and began to analyze their future.  In 2012 the school applied for city approval of a redevelopment plan at its current location, and in March 2012 the school received approval from the city. The goal of the golf tournament is to raise funds to advance the redevelopment plan into a construction project, and your generous contributions will help move Westgate one step closer!

In June of 2016, the school had finally met their half way point and demolition began.  We temporarily moved the school for one year and have finally moved back into 86 West Gate as of September 4, 2017.  The students and community could not be happier, but now our goal is to pay down the remaining balance as quickly as possible with help from donors like you.
