Greetings!

Our names are Jevon Westmoland and Jason Jenkins. Together, we form the hilarious comedic duo, “A Fresh Pair of Jays”. We are writing to you in hopes you would be willing to become a sponsor for our upcoming comedy tour.

About Us:

Jevon Westmoland (St. Louis, Missouri) is an American comedian, actor, host, and writer (End of the Bench). Jevon presents comedy that reaches multigenerational audiences by taking them on a clean comedic journey via storytelling. He has had the pleasure of sharing stage with some of comedy’s heavy hitters, such as Reena Calm, Mike E. Winfield (America Got Talent), and Melanie Camacho. Jevon is continuing to make a name for himself and quietly becoming a big voice in comedy.

Jason Jenkins (Peoria, Illinois) is an American comedian, actor, social media influencer, and writer. Jason presents day-to-day experiences in a witty, clever, in-your-face style of comedy. Jason has been crowned “Funniest in Peoria” and performed in “New Kings & Queens of Comedy” produced by Walter Latham (Kings of Comedy & Queens of Comedy). Jason Jenkins is a comedic genius who will have you holding your side from laughter.

A Fresh Pair of Jays is a comedy tour that is the birth child of a creative experience mixed with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are bringing this Tour throughout multiple states in the Midwest. Self-produced comedy tours are a cornerstone of comedy. Just from the vast number of comics and lack of opportunity, an “I’ll do it myself” type attitude appeared.

Reason for Tour:

Why wait for opportunity when we create our own opportunity? When it comes to comedy, St. Louis and Peoria have an amazing story within the pages of the comedy history book. Each city has produced its share of legends. St. Louis, with greats such as Redd Foxx and Comic Royalty in Cedric the Entertainer. Peoria with Richard Pryor, who some consider the G.O.A.T. of Stand Up. Standing on the shoulder of these giants, we look to write our chapter.

Our comedy tour (A Fresh Pair of Jays: The Tour) will begin May 29, 2024, at The Helium Comedy Club in St. Louis. We are looking to raise money.

The money donated will be used as a Kickstarter. Your donations will go towards transportation, lodging, marketing, social media marketing, and promotional items. Your company logo will also be posted on these items.

We will gratefully acknowledge your generosity on our social media platforms and add your logo to electronic and printed event materials and promotional items. Ultimately, we would like to expand your market as well as ours.

We cannot meet our goal without the help of people/companies like you/yours. Would you consider donating to one of our three options? You will be able to help us launch our comedy tour.

I personally believe that because comedy brings so many people together from different walks of life. Sponsoring a comedy show would be the best way to reach a new audience.
