THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING TO SUPPORT FDSWF AND OUR DOWN SYNDROME COMMUNITY! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
Why should you sponsor?
This October, F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Down Syndrome West Florida (FDSWF) will host the 4th FDSWF 3.21 Fun Run & Buddy Walk, Saturday, October 26th at Raymond James Stadium. It is one of more than 275 walks taking place across the country to benefit those with Down syndrome. Monies raised will go to supporting our many year-round programs, “THE FRIENDS CENTER” a Down syndrome center that will house a daycare, afterschool, and adult day program for the special need’s community and the National Down Syndrome Society.
Little by little our Down syndrome community is growing stronger and more unified. We have over 4,000 families in the Tampa Bay area and when we speak as a community, we are breaking down barriers. We would like to show our community the amazing accomplishments of individuals with Down syndrome as they are now living longer, healthier and more productive lives. They are getting married, obtaining gainful employment, voting and are more integrated into the fabric of society more than ever before.
This year we are honored as our new Mayor, Jane Castor will be participating in the event and FDSWF is receiving a commendation from Luis Viera, District 7 City Councilman as we come together to advocate and promote inclusion in a fun and inspiring fundraising event.
If you would like to learn more about F.R.I.E.N.D.S., the Buddy Walk, and all the great things we are doing in our community, please give me a call. To become a Sponsor please contact Jamie Santillo, FDSWF Marketing Director at (239)297-6691, *****@****.***. Thanks so much for supporting FDSWF and our Down syndrome community!
