    We are THE ORIGINAL.  If it doesn't say Vendor Nation it's not us. 

    2017 was unbelievable with 2 days of fun but we missed having the family together so for 2018 we're bringing everyone back together for one day of fun. I think you'll agree it's even more fun when the gang's all there. Even our drone enjoyed the views of the crowd and stage performances. This year we're featuring not only wineries, but breweries for the beer lovers and distilleries for the fine spirits enthusiasts. It will be an enhanced experience for our guest new and old.

    This year we welcome Anheuser Busch and the International Beer Gardent and back again is The Carolina Kitchen and Courvoisier hosting The Ultimate VIP Experience.

    Stay cool and enjoy our giant waterslide and misting station while having fun in the sun and partying to the sounds of Skip Pruitt, Mark Walker, Clones of Funk, Nucleus and Friends, Earl Ivey and On Kee Band, DJ Freeez, Bob Baldwin featuring Lori Williams, and more!

    I've always enjoyed finding my next challenge. However, as the author of 2 books, producer of an online podcast, moderator of several Facebook groups and event producer, finding greater challengers can be challenging. While seeking that next challenge I recalled the large vendor expos that came to DC each year. Even as a child I recognized what a wonderful opportunity they presented for small companies to introduce their products to the market.  Those events were an affordable way to test new products in the market and meet new customers. Fast forward, they're far and few these days and are only found at other events such as music festivals and fairs. Hence Vendor Nation LLC was formed out of a desire to help “the little guy” in ways that level the playing field. We all know who the big players are but what we have to understand is how important those small players are in the game. My goal in forming Vendor Nation has always been to help others find recognition for what they produce, sell and service. My background is extensive in music and entertainment event promotion. I've produced or assisted with producing large events for more than 10 years in Rhode Island, Maryland, Richmond VA and Washington DC. Working with others was great opportunity for me understand the process and cultivate industry relationships. However, it left to desire the control I needed to provide the help I mentioned above.  With little planning but a huge vision, I launched The Original Southern Maryland Wine, Jazz, R&B and Funk Festival. This platform has given me the control to not only help vendors but to introduce a plethra of talent to thousands.  We beat all the odds in our first year and have been going strong ever since, creating a loyal following. I don't take my success lightly and I believe that it stems from my sincere desire to see other succeed. I make every effort to produce events that offer alternative fun for our crowds so in addition to hand selecting my performers, I incorporate unique activities and vendor opportunities that separate us from other events. I like to say "Others produce events, we produce entertainment experiences".
