About the event
We are proud to announce that we will be holding, on behalf of Team Fox, the 2nd Annual Party For a Purpose on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at The Grande Event Center in Knoxville, Tn. This year’s event theme is 80’s Prom For Parkinson’s to benefit Parkinson’s disease research on behalf of Team Fox and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This event will feature The Coveralls as live entertainment. Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Each year, thousands of Team Fox members worldwide turn their passions and interests into unique fundraising events and athletic feats.
We are requesting your support in donating any products and/or services that can be used to support the Foundation and attendees during the event. I would also be happy to provide information on how you and your company can support the Team Fox Party for a Purpose through sponsorship or participation. If you are interested in a corporate sponsorship please see the below benefit chart. Your consideration is greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of all proceeds go directly to Parkinson’s disease research.
Why should you sponsor?
All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of all proceeds go directly to Parkinson’s disease research. This event introduce the topic of Parkinson's Disease research to the demographic of 25-45, which is a newer area of focus. Each year, more people (including myself) are diagnosed at younger ages with Parkinson's Disease, and there is very limited research on medical practices, and treatment. This is an area that needs more focus, and bringing the attention to a younger generation in a fun manner will introduce new individuals to fundraising.
From a demographic standpoint, the age bracket of 25-45 has expendible income and tend to purchase products that are associated with fundraising efforts within this geographic region. In regard to exposure, each sponsorship will produce around 600,000 unique impressions via social media, web advertising, print media, television, and radio.
I fundraise for Parkinson's Disease, because I was diagnosed in June of 2016 at the age of 31. After doing much research, I found that there is very little in terms of support groups, therapy, and information avenues within the East Tennessee area. I am a graduate from Carson Newman University with a Masters in Business Administration.
