  • About the event

Founded in 1989, the Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo is one of the largest police motorcycle rodeo nationwide.

The Safety Trials is an annual police motorcycle skills event that benefits the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). C.O.P.S. is a national organization that benefits the children of police officers killed in the Line of Duty.

Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss.  C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives.  There is no membership fee to join C.O.P.S., for the price paid is already too high.

In the past, we also supported the following charities: Tamarac Explorer Post, Seminole Police Explorer Program, Palm Beach County Explorer Program, Embrace Life Children’s Foundation and The Broward Children’s Center.

Over $40,000 was donated to C.O.P.S and these other fine organizations during the 2017 motorcycle rodeo.

    Why should you sponsor?

With the help of our sponsors, the funds we raise goes towards a wonderful cause. The motor officers, spectators and sponsors who attend have an amazing time. In the coming years, we would like to grow this event larger and larger. In turn, we will be able to donate more to C.O.P.S. kids.
