    Blake Thompson

Blake Thompson, Owner/Creator of Teammate Basketball, has spent the last decade creating opportunities for boys and girls to spend time in a constructive, competitive, and positive environment. While it's rewarding to see young players improve their game, Blake's primary motivation is to create a setting where young athletes can improve as teammates, build social skills, practice sportsmanship, and learn how to efficiently deal with adversity through sport.

As evident in the brand name, Blake feels that the better a young athlete is as a teammate, the better classmate, co-worker, society member, he or she can be. Selflessness, work ethic, communication, respect, reliability - all these things contribute to success on the court, but more importantly serve as essential life skills. The goal at Teammate Basketball is to foster an environment, not only where basketball skills can be enhanced and exposed, but also where kids can learn what it takes to be the ultimate teammate.

Blake played NCAA Division I Basketball at Georgia Southern University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Personal Finance. He also graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Master's Degree in Sport Management.
