On Sept. 1-7, 2019, the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA) will welcome thousands of athletes to Kansas City for the 43rd Gay Softball World Series (GSWS). For over 40 years, NAGAAA has led the LGBTQ community and its allies in organized softball competition with a network of softball leagues in the U.S. and Canada. We are an all-volunteer group, and after 40 years of promoting gay softball, we know we are most successful when we include corporate partners on our team. NAGAAA believes in strong corporate partnerships that create shared value. Together, we can strengthen the LGBTQ community, increase access to all of the great things that come from participation in team sports, and create solid returns for our partners. By supporting our players, and leveraging our 54,000+ on field and 500,000+ off field impressions, our partners ultimately “get back by giving back”. Together, we can continue to be one of the best places for LGBTQ people to play team sports. Partnerships help us grow gay softball. With established leagues in 48 cities, two national tournaments and 31 regional tournaments, NAGAAA engages just under 20,000 LGBT and allied athletes each year, playing 60+ seasons of softball. Our goal is to share softball with more and more LGBTQ people, advancing excellence in our sport while embracing our sense of community to enrich the lives of all involved. We are a non profit 501c3 organization, Our 2019 benefactor will go to the local AIDS service fondation of Kansas City.
